In June, the Institute on Social Exclusion at the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago (USA) will host a conference titled the Social Determinants of Mental Health: From Awareness to Action. Out of the conference will be formed a Working Group whose task it will be to create a tool -- the Social Determinants of Mental Health Impact Assessment Tool (SDoMH IA) -- to evaluate the likely impacts of a public decision (e.g., legislation, policy, program) on the social determinants of mental health. We would welcome participation, comments, suggestions, ideas and other input about how best to develop such a tool.
